Rosskopf (2305m) from Scheibe
A promising mid-winter summit on the edge of the Kaunergrat, featuring open ski terrain, clear line choice, and an impressive panorama. Rosskopf, also known as Kreuzjoch, is a subsidiary peak with an ideal location for a winter tour. From the starting point in Scheibe, the ascent leads via the Arzler Alm and then over open slopes to the summit. Particularly impressive are the views to the east across the entire Geigenkamm range with the Hohe Geige, as well as to the southwest toward the imposing Rofelewand and the Gsallkopf.

Forcella del Nevaio is a classic ski tour in the Cadini di Misurina range, offering 800 meters of ascent through scenic alpine terrain with views of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. The route includes steep sections, a final bootpack through a couloir, and a rewarding descent through open slopes.
Ottenspitze-Ultenspitze (2179 m) from Schmirntal
The Ottenspitze – also known as Ultenspitze – is located in the Tux Alps within the Schmirntal ski touring area. It offers a beautiful descent through a sparse forest, making it possible even in less stable conditions. However, caution is needed on the steep summit slope, as it is often wind-loaded after strong southern winds. The tour provides stunning views into the Valsertal and of the mighty Olperer with its striking ice wall. There are great descent options leading directly into the Schmirntal.
