Fallbach waterfall

Technical difficulty: 2/10
Fitness: 2/10
Objective danger: 2/10
Landscape: 5/10
Busy: 3/10

A short round close to Innsbrucks, with easy runnable trails and a nice waterfall as a bonus.

Starting point: Parkplatz Halltal
Ending point: Parkplatz Halltal
Length:
12.5km
Vertical: 300m
Speed: Very runnable trails. 20m of scrambling to the waterfall itself.

Route:

There is not a ton of sense in describing the route here. We start from the parking lot in Halltal and make a loop east of it. The forests here offer plenty of trails to get lost in, the attached route is just one of thousands of possible combinations. Just follow the route as given, or improvise at will.

The interesting part of the round is the Fallbach waterfall about 75% through the GPX track attached. We follow a small river upstream. The trail gets narrower and gets a bit technical towards the end. The actual waterfall is not visible until the last minute so trust the process and keep going. Continue going upstream until you see it. There is a short scrambling sections on the last few meters. The waterfall shower on a hot day is definitely worth it.
